Mark has been in the substance abuse treatment field since 1997. He started his career in Sarasota, FL as a therapist and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and became licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He is a Master Certified Addiction Professional. He has practiced in a wide variety of venues, including private practice, publicly funded treatment centers, private treatment centers and the Florida prison system. Mark brings a quarter century of experience and passion for helping people learn how to save their own lives to his role as Clinical Director.

Timi has over twenty years of human service experience, as a Licensed Massage Therapist, an educator and, presently, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The acquired experiences of
these fields have culminated in the ability for Timi to engage clients in establishing a connection between physiological and emotional responses. Timi has been with ARIA since its inception and has been afforded the opportunity to work alongside a team of
professionals who share the same desire to assist clients who suffer from substance use disorder. Timi is passionate about the field of addiction and recovery and assisting individuals in empowering themselves. In her current role as Clinical Supervisor, Timi
is engaged in all aspects of learning and sharing best practices with the intention of supporting teamwork and the health and well-being of our clients.

SharLandria has devoted her career to helping improve the lives of others and helping them to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes in order to experience meaningful change. She utilizes a variety of approaches in serving clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, reality, and solution-focused therapy. She believes in a client-centered approach meeting people where they are and healing from that point. A Florida native, SharLandria earned her Master’s of Social Work from FLorida Atlantic University. In her free time, she enjoys travel and spending time with her fiancé and her two sons.

ARIA Primary Therapist, Tony Jerry is a Florida native with over 10 years of experience in mental health treatment. His diverse career background ranges from working in the Texas correctional system to therapy and counseling in substance abuse and mental health treatment centers. Tony earned both a BS in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Executive Administration of Justice in addition to being a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Tony says what he likes best about his work is serving God and helping people. In his free time he enjoys sports, swimming, listening to music, reading and spending time with his family.

Originally from New York, Jonathan graduated from SUNY at New Paltz, earning a degree in Psychology and Communication. He attended Old Dominion University to earn his counseling credentials. Jonathan has been working as a substance abuse counselor since 2011. He helped create the Peer Community Project at ARIA to help clients build lasting connections. Jonathan has always been motivated to help others and never wants anyone to feel alone. His diverse experience includes working with children with autism and college students. He is an animal lover (especially ducks) and supports protecting endangered wildlife. When he’s not at ARIA, Jonahtan enjoys following Miami Marlins and Jacksonville Jaguars football.

Carl Heights, has been a registered nurse for over 10 years. A proud U.S. military veteran, Carl was a combat medic in the Army before deciding to pursue a career in nursing. He’s earned several post graduate degrees but considers his GED the most important. He’s worked in several areas of nursing; to include ER, ICU, Med Surge, Consulting, and Hospice, but finds his current station within addiction treatment the most fulfilling.

Tomasina has been a valued member of the nursing department here at ARIA since November 2020. She has been working in the drug and alcohol treatment field since 2014. She began her career as a Behavioral Health Technician working in both adult and adolescent centers. Tomasina’s broad experience includes acting as a Case Manager, Group Facilitator and Manager of PHP housing . She graduated in 2019 with her nursing degree and moved into the nursing department.

Jerry Mawali is a Licensed Practical nurse currently employed by ARIA (Addiction Treatment Institute of America) for the last 1.5 years. His duties include providing medical care during emergencies, monitoring, counseling, and implementation of patient care plans. He believes that every patient deserves empathy and respect no matter their past or present ircumstances.
He received his CNA and nursing certification in 2020 from an accredited nursing school, ANHO (Academy for Nursing and Health Occupation) along with Phlebotomy, management, and delegation clearance. He also is a BACB (Behavior Analyst certification Board) member as a RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) since 2018, working with children and adults on the autistic spectrum.
When he is not providing services to his patient/clients, he is probably somewhere searching for his next food experience because considers himself a food critic and loves a new dining experience. He also loves sports, and fitness.

Kate Rosborough, our Director of Admissions, came to ARIA with a plethora of experience in the substance abuse field. Kates experience working as a utilization review specialist, operations manager, and as a director of admissions, made her the perfect fit for our operation. Being a native to South Florida, Kate knows first-hand the determent that substance abuse has had on individuals within her community. Kate has spent the last few years in this field working closely with executive team members and owners to build stellar programming and systems for treatment centers. Kate brings this wealth of knowledge and desire to help others with her every day to work to help ARIA be the most welcoming and excellent treatment center in South Florida.

Theresa Tripucka CRRA, CAC is our Director of Housing and is a Certified Recovery Residence Administrator. She is happily married with 4 beautiful daughters and “one very dopey dog”. She is very active in NA and has been sober since 2014. In her free time she enjoys going for motorcycle rides with her husband.
